PROVINSIAL NEWSLETTER
AND CENTENARY MAGAZINE:
The
province is seriously working towards coming up with two publications: “The
voice of the Immaculate Heart Magazine” and “The voice of the Immaculate Heart
Newsletter”. The topics have been given out to seasoned hands and experienced
members across dioceses in the province to write on.
There is every likelihood that the
publications will be out before the year runs off. The aim of these
publications is to give both members and non-members of WAF the opportunity to read
first hand articles on the message of Fatima, other related and interesting
topics about Our Lady and other basic teachings of the church.
SELF ASSESSMENT BY THE
PROVINCIAL EXCOS ON THEIR ONE YEAR IN OFFICE. The provincial
excos gave themselves an unbiased assesssement of their one year in office
since March 2016. This was done in our
exco meeting held on the 17th of June, 2017 at St. John’s Parish,
Umuokpu, Awka in Awka Diocese. It gave us an opportunity to point out areas
where we did well as well as where we did not get it right. We looked at the
set backs and the challenges facing the excos and the province at large.
Finally, we rubbed minds on strategies that will enable us do better in the
years ahead. These strategies, shortcomings and challenges were documented for
reference purposes.
On a general note, Our Lady is
actually doing her work in Onitsha ecclesiastical province as it affects WAF
and the message of Fatima.
