Benin Archdiocese

REPORT OF THE WORLD APOSTOLATE OF FATIMA BENIN ARCHDIOCESE PRESENTED AT THE NATIONAL ROSARY CONGRESS HELD BETWEEN 18TH TO 21ST OF AUGUST AT ST. PETER AND JUDE MINOR SEMINARY IN KUJE ABUJA ARCHDIOCESE.

PREAMBLE A: This report covers the activities held in the Archdiocese after the last National delegates conference held in KANO DIOCESE between 19th -21^st of August, 2016 to July 2017. Summary of these activities are outlined below.

CONSTITUENTS: The Archdiocese Constitutes of two deaneries namely: IGUOBAZUWA and BENIN CITY DEANERIES respectively with a total number of 17 active cells/centers, with each cell/center boosting of at least 5-10 members per-cell meeting, Although it is hoped that this increases before the end of the year.

B:          DIOCESAN ELECTION: During this period, precisely on the 10th of April 2016, our Diocesan election was conducted bringing in to power the following persons:

3.	Eke Benedict	-	Secretary
4.	Ibenagum Callistus	-	Assistant Secretary
5.	Ominyi Pius	-	Treasurer
6.	Ominyi	-	Welfare
7.	Mr. Amu Cyprian	-	Fin. Sec
8.	Mama Anselm	-	WAF Promoter

·  It is noteworthy that this was not reported at the delegates conference, hence the need to do so now.

ACTIVITIES HELD DURING THE PERIOD UNDER REVIEW:

SPIRITUAL ACTIVITIES: 

Numerous spiritual activities have taken place during the period among which are; Novenas for different spiritual events, E.g. Novena in honour of: the Immaculate Conception, feast of our Lady’s Birthday etc. First Friday vigil/first Saturday devotions, candle light procession for the October 13th Apparition, ACTIVE PARTICIPATION OF MEMBERS IN ALL THE ACTIVITIES OUTLINED BY THE ARCHDIOCESE TO CELEBRATE THE CENTENARY OF OUR MOTHERS APPARITION E.G. Rosary Carnival. The May 13th Celebration which was Wonderfully celebrated, Not forgetting the grand Celebration to mark the opening of the year, which had in attendance our ARCHBISHOP, Most REV. DR. OBIORA
